About me

Hi, lovely to meet you. I’m Emma.

I’m a Hawke’s Bay celebrant, originally from the UK, and I’ve been lucky enough to call beautiful New Zealand home for over 18 years. It’s where I’ve raised my three gorgeous children, built a life I love, and found a job that genuinely makes me happy.

I’ve been a celebrant for over 12 years, and even after all that time, there’s still something incredibly special about standing alongside two people on one of the biggest days of their lives.

My kind of ceremony?

Warm, relaxed, personal and full of personality.

I don’t believe your wedding ceremony should feel overly formal, generic, or like something you simply have to get through before the celebrations begin. It should feel like you.

That might mean plenty of laughter, a few happy tears, a little humour in just the right places, or simply creating a calm and meaningful moment amongst all the excitement of the day.

My job is to get to know you, listen to what matters to you and turn your ideas and story into a ceremony that feels completely natural and authentically yours.

And if you have absolutely no idea where to begin? That’s perfectly fine too.

With more than a decade of experience, I’ll guide you through the whole process, answer the questions you didn’t even know you had, and take away as much of the ceremony-planning stress as possible.

On the day, you can relax knowing I’ve got the ceremony covered — so you can concentrate on each other, soak up the moment and actually enjoy it.

I bring a professional approach without the stuffiness, plenty of warmth, a calm presence and, when it suits you, a good dose of humour.

Because ultimately, I want you to walk away from your ceremony thinking:

“That was so us.”

And if we have a lot of fun getting there, even better.

Based in beautiful Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.
